,“Thanks to CLT we can access the quickly growing solid, wood construction element markets in Europe. This is also a significant step forward for the whole Bad St. Leonard production facility. Starting CLT production is an excellent example of our strategy to produce more and more added value and to concentrate on our customers,” says Peter Kickinger, Executive Vice President, Stora Enso Timber.,

,Cross-laminated timber (CLT) products can be 3 metres wide and 16 metres long. The product’s structure, in other words its strength and quality, depends on the product’s intended end use. Cross-laminated elements can consist of 3, 5, 7 or more layers. The CLT element can be delivered as such, or it can be equipped with precut window and door openings and milled channels for utility installations. ,<p<,Ivar Palo
